Safety Day celebration at Vrindavan TechVillage

On 4th March’09, Vrindavan TechVillage celebrated the 38th National Safety Day (NSD). The National Safety campaign is spearheaded by the National Safety Council (NSC). The NSC aims to generate, develop and sustain a voluntary movement on Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) at the national level. At Vrindavan TechVillage advanced safety and environment features have been implemented from the development stage.

The VTV team began the NSD celebrations with hoisting the NSC flag. The VTV team comprising the BMS and PCM teams together took the pledge commissioned by the NSC, which ensures commitment of the organization towards safety of environment, health safety and safe guarding the campus. Banners about the National Safety campaign were placed all around the VTV campus. The aim of this activity was to create awareness of VTV’s focus on environment and safety of the campus and its occupants. This exercise has reinforced VTV’s commitment towards safety of the campus as well as the VTV occupants. The week from 4th March-10th March’09 is celebrated as the ‘National Safety Week’.
